First image for the online-release of Fahrenheit's "Caida Libre" (freefall). First of three.

This is a very interesting landscape... a sort of interpretation of Newton's apocryphal story with the apple; with a twist of course. You can see the apples going in the "wrong" direction.

I'm not entirely sure of the meaning of this one... but I guess to leave something open to interpretations every now and then is not such a bad thing... :P

cheers!

Funny thing is... I did it very fast and not really sure I was completely into the concept. But, it was a commission and had to be done in time!

well, I like it, because it shows the freefall but in a opposite way, not top down but bottom up and the slope is eye-catching.

yeah... I remember the concept the client gave me was gravity... and I was blank for about two days. Then I saw a documentary about Newton and the apocryphal story of the apple... then bang! idea! XD

I know, great and important knowledge because it was the first time he thought thinking because of an fallen apple the gravity no more in a two-dimensional but in a three-dimensional way. For the people living at this time in a two-dimensional world really a revolution. So, great inspiration for your work.

Sure... Many scientists believe that Newton was brilliant beyond comprehension... far beyond Einstein, Sagan or Hawkins combined. Science took a huuuge jump thanks to him. I believe Tesla was in that elite as well.

You mean Nikola Tesla, I guess. Well it's strange with him. I think he's a forgotten genius because only few people know that he has invented before Marconi, Röntgen and Edison the same things. Really interessting theme and I could talk about this for hours. So thank you for letting me think about those themes . Have a nice evening.

Yes Nikola Tesla... a genious. The reason not many people know about him is because the CIA supressed and hide most of his work. It's no coincidence that he's not featured in any school book in the world! His knowledge was a threat to big corporations!
