Martial Landscape by bergamind Martial Landscape by bergamind
Inspired on Bradbury's classic work "Martian Chronicles". This piece doesn't intend to be cientifically acurate. It's a tribute to classic sci-fi.

Grat work! It looks so neat and barren at the same time, and the double moon of Mars is wonderful to behold.

This is no painting. This'd be a painting if everything in this picture was actually painted, that is why you call it a painting. As soon as you use photos (mind that, not as references) it's a manipulation.

Well, this doesn't change that this is awesome, a wrong category doesn't make a bad picture ;) Me likes tbh.

Actually the real moons are barely visible. But I say: WTF. It's a painting not a NASA photo. Very well done. The ground and rocks are the same colour as in the pics taken by Opportunity. The city looks awesome. Yep, a great novel is a good place to find great inspiration.

work is good, but martian moons (Phobos & Demios, I think) don't look like as our Moon. And Utah rock monuments... I don't mind it. However it's good job. d.b

Brings to mind the haunting sound of pan pipes in dead sea bottoms. Great picture, very well done - you've certainly captured the mood.
