It's been two busy years... I can't even begin to summarize the experience.    The most interesting events in the past few months have been represented by the sudden interest in my work of mainstream musicians.  Rob Halford, Accept and Arjen Lucassen were the names I was thrilled to work with...   but enough words...  here's some of it!

Can someone explain to me what the hell should I do with the flock of llamas I have already????

I am currently working in very cool animation short to be a promo video for well known band.  The subject is as interesting as the process itself: The Anunnaki and the New World Order with a Space Opera twist!!!   lol.  At first, in my usual innocence and pretentious way, I thought I would be able to do it all by myself... all the credit and money for me!!!  NOT!   very quickly I realize I had to hire other people.  The first I recruited was very talented kid...  a cartoonist.  The second step was the animators...  job that landed in a couple of geeks from a film company I knew.    Let me tell you: it has been a really rewarding and refreshing experience being the head of this project...  I've learned I know stuff I didn't know I knew while organizing and verbalizing concepts during meetings...  working by yourself can create art monsters!!!  You can become too in love with your selfish little methods and not realize that there are many ways to achieve good results.   Team work is best therapy for "art neurosis".

I've been so stressed latelly.  Too much work, too many deadlines, too many clients who don't know what they want or how to ask for it.  In fact this is the first time in months I post stuff here in deviantART or I have the time to update any of my websites.

These past two months have been insane.

but I'm not writing this entry to complain...   on the contrary, to share with you my solution:  COOKING.

Cooking combines a fantastic mix of discipline and pleasure to the senses that gives me the zen peace I need every day.  It is almost like foreplay and sex.

I cook anything at anytime: last week, I made onion bread a 3am!!!

So get to the kitchen folks!!!  cook fancy to impress your girlfriend, cook pizza to amuse your friends, cook for your mom, COOK FOR YOURSELF!
